Applications for the 2023 Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) program, facilitated by CyprusInno, are now open. Interested individuals can apply by July 30th. 

This program is proudly supported by the Embassy of the United States of America, along with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce (KTTO).

The AWE program is a three-month in-person course conducted in English, commencing in early September. It is designed for women who aspire to launch their own businesses or seek assistance in scaling their existing ventures. The program is provided at no cost.

Applicants are welcomed at any stage of their entrepreneurial journey, even those without prior experience or knowledge, as the aim is to support women in realizing their entrepreneurial dreams.

Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate and join the esteemed community of AWE alumni. This offers valuable networking opportunities with alumni from around the world.

This year marks the inaugural edition of the AWE program in Cyprus. It combines localized in-class mentoring and training with an online platform called DreamBuilder.

During the program, participants will acquire essential business skills such as strategic planning, marketing, and financial management. They will have the opportunity to apply these skills in both classroom settings and real-world scenarios, benefiting from the guidance of mentors from the local business community and the U.S. Exchange Alumni network.

The AWE program in Cyprus will run from September to November 2023. Participants will engage in a combination of in-person and online entrepreneurship and business training sessions. They will also have the chance to interact with accomplished Cypriot women entrepreneurs and visit businesses led by women.

Founded in 2019, AWE is dedicated to empowering women by equipping them with the knowledge, networks, and resources required to launch and grow successful businesses.
