In a recent announcement by Cyprus Airways, Tassos Michail has been named the airline's new Chairman. Additionally, Giorgos Chatzigiannis has joined the company's Executive Board.

Tassos Michail, a seasoned lawyer, boasts extensive experience in the fields of asset financing, trading, and leasing. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with various private and shipping companies, as well as notable aircraft manufacturers, including Airbus and Boeing.

On accepting the new role, Mr. Michail expressed his pride and enthusiasm, stating, “I am confident that together with the Executive Board, management, and staff of Cyprus Airways, we will steer the company towards greater successes that will not only be profitable for the shareholders but also deliver added value to our customers.”

According to the airline's statement, Giorgos Chatzigiannis has a strong background in international securities and investment banking.
