Vienna recently played host to the specialized exhibition "Regal Branchentreff 2023," where Cyprus proudly presented its renowned products, including halloumi, commandaria, and zivania.

In an official press release on Wednesday, the Ministry of Energy, Trade, and Industry announced Cyprus' active participation in the exhibition, collaborating with the Trade Centre of the Republic of Cyprus in Vienna to set up a dedicated stand.

The exhibition provided an excellent platform for Cyprus to showcase its diverse range of products, such as the world-famous halloumi, alongside other traditional delights like commandaria and zivania. Additionally, attendees were introduced to native Cypriot wine varieties, including Xynisteri and Maratheftiko.

Highlighting the occasion, a special tasting event featured halloumi in various creative presentations. Attendees had the pleasure of savoring this delicious cheese served in fresh forms and combined with a selection of delightful accompaniments like grapes, figs, watermelon, and cherry tomatoes.
