Successful First Business Mission of CITEA-OEB in Athens

CITEA Plans to Organize More Business Missions in the Near Future

The first business mission organized by the Pan-Cyprian Association of IT Businesses (CITEA) and the Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) was successfully conducted in Athens.

This event took place on Tuesday, October 17th, at a hotel in Athens, with the participation of Cypriot IT companies that are members of CITEA, representatives from Greek businesses, and commercial envoys. Leading the mission were Mr. Antónis Antoníou, President of the OEB, Mr. Dimítris Nisíotis, President of CITEA, and Mr. Giánnos Dimítriou, Head of the Office of the Deputy Ministry of Research and Innovation.

The aim of this business mission was to foster the exchange of ideas, create strategic collaborations, and promote innovation and entrepreneurship between the two countries. Participants had the opportunity to share perspectives, explore each other's business environments, and cultivate relationships that can lead to future collaborations.

During the mission, presentations were given by all the Cypriot businesses that participated, followed by B2B meetings with the Greek businesses.

The business mission succeeded in achieving its objectives, building bridges between the IT businesses of Cyprus and Greece. CITEA plans to organize more business missions in the near future, focusing on promoting its member businesses.
