On Sunday, 1st October, TUS Airways celebrated its maiden flight from Larnaca to Dubai with a grand ceremony. Flight U8 684, aboard a state-of-the-art Airbus A320, was met with enthusiasm from dignitaries including Giorgos Papanastasiou, Cyprus' Minister of Energy, Commerce, and Industry; Meropi Christofi, the Cypriot Ambassador to the UAE; Majed Al Joker, Chief Operations Officer of Dubai Airports; and Ahmed Aly, CEO of TUS Airways.

This new route not only serves as TUS Airways' initial foray into the Middle East but also stands as a significant milestone, promising passengers both convenience and value. At the launch event, CEO Ahmed Aly voiced confidence in the route's potential to bolster tourism, commerce, and trade relations between the UAE and Cyprus, emphasizing its value proposition for travelers.
