Wizz Air, the most environmentally sustainable airline in the EMEA region, is thrilled to announce the launch of an exciting new route from Larnaca to Barcelona, Spain,  launching this October. 

Tickets go on sale starting 22 May, with one-way fares from just €49.99 (including all mandatory fees and one carry-on bag). With this expansion, Wizz Air continues to provide affordable, direct travel options from Cyprus to some of Europe’s most sought-after destinations.

The addition of Barcelona marks a significant milestone for Wizz Air’s operations in Cyprus. A long-standing favourite among Cypriot travellers, Barcelona is known for its vibrant culture, iconic architecture, famous beaches and world-famous cuisine. From Gaudi’s Sagrada Família to the buzzing atmosphere of La Rambla, the city offers something for every kind of traveller  and now with Wizz Air, it’s more accessible than ever.

This announcement builds on Wizz Air’s momentum following last week’s introduction of routes to Yerevan, Armenia, and Timisoara, Romania, further strengthening the airline’s growing network out of Larnaca.
