Global Finance has named Bank of Cyprus as the Best Bank and Best Investment Bank in Cyprus in its 2024 awards.

According to a press release, the awards acknowledge the significant achievements of Bank of Cyprus during 2023, including "strong financial and operational performance, the resumption of dividend payments after a 12-year hiatus, and the expansion of its digital offerings to customers."

Global Finance stated, "With pre-tax profits of €487 million in 2023, the Bank has demonstrated strong performance, a commitment to sustainable growth, and the further development of innovative banking products."

Panicos Nicolaou, CEO of Bank of Cyprus, remarked that the award is an international recognition of the bank's robust financial and operational performance, as well as its innovative products and services in 2023. He added that the bank supports the Cypriot economy while creating sustainable value for its shareholders.
