Cyprus Stock Exchange Announces New Public Debt Instruments
Trading of These Instruments Will Commence on Friday
The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) announced today the introduction of 25,000 new public debt instruments of the Republic of Cyprus. Specifically, the CSE reports that it has accepted the listing, in accordance with Article 58(1) of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Law, of 25,000 Public Debt Instruments of the first issue, 13-week Series 2024 (22/03/2024 – 21/06/2024). Each instrument has a nominal value of €1,000, totaling €25,000,000. These instruments have arisen from an auction held on March 15, 2024.
Furthermore, the CSE has also approved the simultaneous introduction of these instruments into the Central Depository and Central Registry in accordance with clauses (1) and (3) of Article 10 of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange (Central Depository and Central Registry of Securities) Laws. The issuance date of these instruments is March 22, 2024.
The trading code for the aforementioned securities to be introduced in the Bond Market will be GD13A24/ TB13A24, and the unique ISIN code is CY0240880811.
It should be noted that these Instruments do not bear any interest.
Trading of these instruments will commence on Friday, March 22, 2024.
