The Municipality of Nicosia has announced that its Cooling Centers will be open on Wednesday, August 13, and Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., offering relief from the effects of the ongoing heatwave.

The centers are located at:

• Agios Dometios – Engomi Multifunctional Municipal Center, 22 Laerti Street, Agios Dometios (Tel: 22449049)

Staff will be on-site throughout the day to assist visitors, while the facilities will provide air-conditioned spaces and refreshing drinks for those seeking respite from the high temperatures.
