More than 1,100 individuals were involved in 1,075 drug-related cases in Cyprus in 2024, according to a post by the Cyprus Police on Wednesday on the X platform.

A table published in the post provides detailed figures on drug seizures for 2024. According to the data, authorities confiscated:

• 616.9 kilograms of cannabis

• 54.1 kilograms of cocaine

• 696 ecstasy tablets and 544 grams of ecstasy powder

• 34 kilograms of cathinone

• 29.3 kilograms of HHC (hexahydrocannabinol)

• 1,802 THC-based products
