"Repute" Polaroid Artist Andrew Tess Explores Fame at Nicosia’s Eleftheria Square Exhibition
Repute, a photographic exhibition by Andrew Tess, examines the cultural mechanisms through which fame, celebrity, and public reputation are constructed and maintained. The project investigates the paradoxes embedded within contemporary social structures, highlighting how societal expectations shape, regulate, and often distort individual behavior.
Andrew Tess is a New York based photographer and artist who works with his Polaroid camera to document international celebrities and New York City's downtown and LGBTQI+ communities.
This exhibition will take place on the 12th of July at 19:30 until 23:00 at Eleftheria square, under the Solomou square bridge. The exhibition will be open to the public and the artist will be present to meet with everyone.
