EASA Cyprus team is delighted to invite you to the final expo day of SESAM Identity 2.0, the 10-days architecture residency event. This special day is scheduled for Sunday, March 9th, from 14:00 to 19:00.

During the event, the final results of the workshops will be showcased in various locations around the walled city of Nicosia. You can start your journey at Melina Mercouri Municipal Hall (Athinas, Nicosia 1016), which will serve as the info point for the day. This will be an excellent opportunity to explore the pavilions and urban art installations created by 140 architecture students and young professionals from across Europe, all centred around the theme of Identity.

• Open Exhibition: Walk around and explore the creative installations at your own pace. 

• Open Discussions: Chat with the artists and designers about their work and ideas.

• Guided Bike Ride: Join a special bike ride facilitated by Organisation for Positive Urbanism (OPU) from 15:00 to 16:30. Meet us at Melina Mercouri and re-explore the city on two wheels through temporary public interventions! OPU is dedicated to promoting sustainable urban living, active mobility, and community-driven city planning. Through projects like guided tour, urban interventions, and public discussions, OPU encourages a deeper connection between people and their city.

Nicosia is a city full of history and stories. During the 1st and 9th of March, SESAM Identity 2.0 is trying to turn these stories into creative projects that will make you see the city in a new way. Whether you’re a local, a student, or just curious, during the Expo Day on Sunday 9 of March, is a great way to experience something new and exciting!

EASA Cyprus is a non-profit organisation dedicated to fostering architectural dialogue, creativity, and education in Cyprus. As part of the larger European Architecture Students Assembly (EASA) network, EASA Cyprus brings together young architects, students, and professionals to engage in hands-on learning and collaborative projects. Its goal is to strengthen the international presence of Cyprus’ young architects and to encourage architectural and urban design initiatives across the island.
