Prof. Diofantos Hadjimitsis Recognized for Excellence in Remote Sensing, Cultural Heritage, and Environmental Engineering

The Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence at the Cyprus University of Technology announced that its CEO, Professor Diofantos Hadjimitsis, has been ranked among the top 0.5% of scientists globally in the latest ScholarGPS 2024 rankings.

This major recognition reflects Professor Hadjimitsis’s influential research in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Satellite Remote Sensing, and Cultural Heritage. It also reinforces the Eratosthenes Centre’s role as a regional hub for scientific excellence.
