Cyprus Beer Deliveries Slip 2.7% as June Exports Plunge 38%

Data from the Statistical Service shows total beer deliveries from Cyprus breweries dipped to 4.71 million liters in June 2026. A minor drop in domestic sales paired with a sharp 38.3% plunge in exports drove the downward trend.

Overall Delivery Drop in June

Total beer deliveries from breweries recorded a decrease of 2.7% in June 2026 compared with June 2025, mainly due to a sharp decline in exports of 38.3%, according to data published on Wednesday by the Statistical Service. Specifically, total beer deliveries (domestic market and exports) amounted to 4,716,070 litres in June 2026, compared with 4,846,927 litres in June 2025, representing a decrease of 2.7%.

Domestic Market Stability

Beer deliveries to the domestic market declined by 0.8% year-on-year in June 2026, reaching 4,564,749 litres.

Export Plunge and Monthly Recovery

In contrast, beer exports from Cypriot breweries recorded a significant drop of 38.3%, falling to 151,321 litres from 245,087 litres in June 2025. Compared with the previous month, total beer deliveries increased by 7.4%, or 326,421 litres.
